Patsy Black Obituary
Patsy was born in Marion, Ohio on March 4, 1931 to Roy and Blanche Sampley. She attended Martel High School before marrying Earl Black in 1955, with whom she lovingly raised three children.
Patsy was creative and loving, enjoying time in the garden among flowers and sewing. She was a talented crafter with a special love for porcelain dolls, making clothing and even carefully painting their faces. She was a devoted mother and always wanted to be home when her children arrived home from school. When she was not busy sewing, painting, or keeping house, Patsy loved playing cards and board games with her family.
She is remembered by children Tarey (Joyce) Black, Tina (Tracy) Price, and daughter-in-law Martha Black; grandchild Carla (Ross) Wind; and great-grandchildren Remington, Carter, and Maddie.
Patsy is preceded in death by her beloved husband Earl; son Timothy; parents Roy and Blanche Sampley; brother Robert; and many more special friends, relatives, and canine companions.
In memory of Patsy's loving nature, her family asks friends and loved ones to make donations to the Richland County Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
