Patsy Gayle Moffett Blevins, loving mother, grandmother, sister and GiGi, was born February 20, 1947 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late Jim William Moffett and Dorothy Durell Glover Moffett. She attended Stantonville School and later Adamsville High School.
On April 2, 1965, Patsy was united in marriage to her husband, William Jimmy Blevins, with whom she shared many happy years until his passing on February 25, 1997.
Patsy dedicated much of her life to her work, spending many years at the Coca Cola Company and serving for 12 years at the Buford Pusser Museum. She enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia and angels. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. She was known for creating some of the best dishes and desserts.
She was a devoted individual with a strong faith in God, which was evident throughout her life. She attended Meeks Grove Free Will Baptist Church and later Living Stone Church. Patsy had a deep appreciation for Gospel music, frequently enjoying the melodies from the radio station in Adamsville, TN.
Patsy was not only a wonderful storyteller, but she also had an undeniable gift for bringing laughter and joy to any gathering. Her heart swelled with love as she played and shared moments with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter.
Mrs. Blevins departed this life on March 2, 2025 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 10 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Renee Miller and husband Richard of Brownsville, TN; a son, Jeff Blevins of Adamsville, TN; three sisters: Debbie Moffett of Adamsville, TN, Dorothy Sherron of Milledgeville, TN, Pam Chambers of Selmer, TN; three grandchildren: Dianna Britton and husband Michael of Johnson City, TN, Tonya and fiancee Kevin, Marshall Webb of Adamsville, TN; three great grandchildren: Andrew Britton, Amelia Britton, Jonah Curtis; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Blevins was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Ann Blevins; three brothers: O'Neal Moffett, Randy Moffett, Tim Moffett; step mother, Juanita Moffett.
