Patsy Hoyt Boyd

Patsy Hoyt Boyd passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Wheldon Jude Boyd, Sr. Loving mother of Wayne P. Boyd (Sharon), Elizabeth B. Lagasse (Donald), and the late Wheldon J. Boyd, Jr. (Angel). Grandmother of “The 7-up” kids, Morgan (Will), Garrett, Marissa (Asken), Sabrina (Alex), Rachel, Jessica (Robbie), and Ethan. Great-grandmother of Henley, Avery, and Parker. Sister of the late Donald (Carol), Thomas (Melba), and Doris Bronzo (Joseph). Daughter of the late Bertha Mildred Wright Hoyt and Thomas Jefferson Hoyt, Jr. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

She was a native of Algiers, LA and was a resident of Belle Chasse, LA for over 50 years.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Woldenburg Village for their care and compassion.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated in the funeral home chapel. Interment Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Belle Chasse, LA.
