Utica—Lane Roger Fosdal, age 64, passed away at UW Hospital on Saturday, February 21, 2026. He was born on April 27, 1961 in Edgerton, WI, the son of Roger and Suzanne (Schultz) Fosdal, and he grew up on the family farm in Utica. During his working years, Lane was a foreman at Fox River Stone for many years prior to retirement, and he was the favorite employee at Hougan Farms!
When not working, Lane enjoyed riding motorcycles and dirt bikes. He was passionate about Harley Davidson, classic cars and trucks, and classic rock.
Lane is survived by his partner: Kari Gray; children: Colin (Kacie) Fosdal and Jillian (Mike Iverson) Fosdal; grandchildren Catalynn and Livianne; mother: Suzanne Fosdal; sister Paula (Mike Lund) Fosdal; uncle David (Susan) Schultz; aunt Janet Schultz; and many other friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his father Roger Fosdal.
A celebration of Lane’s life will be from 12-4 on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at the Stoughton VFW, 200 Veterans Road, Stoughton, WI 53589.
