Patsy worked in the insurance field, retiring after owning her own insurance agency. She married Douglas Marshall Bryan on July 10, 1956. They had three children; Nelson Keith Bryan (Debbie), Sharon Bryan Stone (David), Karon Bryan Smith (Richard). She was grandmother to nine and great grandmother to eleven. She also leaves to cherish her memory two sisters; Judy K. Smith and Cindy Smith Lupton and a brother, Rickey T. Smith (Stephanie). She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Marshal Bryan; two brothers, Tony V. Smith (Nellie) and Jerry L. Smith (Lina) and a brother-in-law, Hunter D. Lupton.
Patsy was a gracious hostess, entertaining family and friends at gatherings for every holiday, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. Fourth of July cookouts were always a two day event where everyone was invited. She loved working in her vegetable garden, spending time with her friends, family and pets, but most of all she loved the Lord. She will be missed by all who knew her.
