Patsy Childs Obituary
Patsy was born on November 08, 1938 in Estancia, New Mexico to JT and Opal Poole. She was the fourth of nine children. Patsy was raised in Floydada, TX and lived there until she moved to Amarillo in 1961. Patsy was very hardworking as a waitress for 32 years while independently raising her three children. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was adored by many. Patsy was strong in faith and her love for the Lord never wavered.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, JT and Opal, four siblings, Bobby, Gladys, Lloyd, and Truman.
Patsy is survived by her children; Shawn Stepneck, Sandy Quintero, and Steven Childs; her grandchildren, Brandy (Zach) Zamora, Nicole Quintero, Jason Stepneck, Bryan Childs, Brandon Childs, and Brayden Childs; and 11 great-grandchildren; four siblings; Wanda Strange, Joyce Hart, Raymond (Mary) Poole, and Jimmy (Jackie) Poole.
She will be greatly missed by many other relatives and friends.
