Patsy Copley, 92, of Lindsey, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Elmwood Assisted Living. She was born March 11, 1933 in Lindsey, the daughter of Mervin and Lucille (Overmyer) Bowersox.
On January 5, 1952 she married William H. Copley at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Bill preceded her in death on January 13, 2022.
Patsy was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and an active participant in it's Bell Choir. In earlier years she was an avid bowler, enjoyed crafting and camping with numerous camping clubs. She and her husband alongside their daughter operated PB&J Crafts. Patsy was a nurturing soul whose greatest joy was taking care of her husband, children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her sons: Dan (Beth) of Rochester, IN; Randy (Betsy) of Lindsey, OH and Dale (Sally) of Gibsonburg, OH; son-in-law Richard Willer of Lindsey; OH; grandchildren: Shane (Laura); Brandon (April); Craig (Alison), Aaron (Rickey), Daryl (Kara), Kari (Corey), Ryan (Mandi) and Alex; great-grandchildren: Paige, Connor, Arleena, Bowen, Chase, Graham, Noah, Jamison, Declan, Everlie, Eloise; brother-in-law Roy Copley of Gibsonburg, OH; sister-in-law Elaine Bowersox Sycamore, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Janet Willer; sister Shirley (Paul) Baker; brother Dennis Bowersox;in-laws Fred (Carol) Copley, Maxine & Art Shoemaker, Jim & Jean Copley, Linda Copley.
Visitation will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1187 CR 128, Fremont, OH. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Tim Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
