Timothy P. Christy, 51, passed away on March 25, 2026, in Gibsonburg. He was born on December 18, 1974, in Elyria, Ohio, and spent his life enriching the people around him with his warm spirit.
Timothy dedicated many years of his life to the restaurant industry, working as a chef for Fazzoli's and Long John Silvers. In his free time he enjoyed going to parks, spending time with his family and learning and building connections at Church and the community.
He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Hay, and his step-father, Robert Hay of Gibsonburg, who were steadfast sources of strength and support in his life. Also left to cherish his memory are siblings, Christina Elliot, Lisa (Frank) Miller, Candy (Karl) Bruns, and John (Cassie) Hay; and 7 grandchildren. Timothy's generous heart, infectious laughter, and zest for life will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is preceded in death by his wife Norma Seyerle who passed on April 8, 2020.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, Gibsonburg from 9:00-11:00 AM with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
Memorial contributions be made to his family care of Barbara.
