Corder, Patsy – of Clio, age 86, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday, December 5, 2025, at O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Rhyan Glezman to officiate, burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 2PM until 8PM and on Friday from 10AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church food bank or Clio Community Church of God.
Patsy was born January 12, 1939, in Cardwell, Missouri, Patsy touched the lives of many throughout her life. Patsy graduated from Bendle High School with the Class of 1956. On January 3, 1959, she married the love of her life, John W. Corder. Together, they created a beautiful family and home filled with love. For 38 years, Patsy served as a phone operator at Belle Telephone. She was deeply involved in her community, a cherished member of Bethany United Methodist Church, actively participating in the Esther Circle. Patsy had a passion for life that shone through her many hobbies. She enjoyed bowling, shopping with friends, and spent countless hours delighting in a good game show or crossword puzzle. Known for her exceptional cooking and baking, she was particularly fond of lemon Oreos. Patsy was not only a remarkable wife and mother but also an amazing grandmother who cherished every moment with her grandchildren. Her home was a sanctuary filled with love, laughter, and song, where she felt most at peace. Known for her kindness and generous heart, Patsy will be remembered for the light she brought into the lives of all who knew her.
Surviving are: Husband of 66 years, John Corder: Daughter, Deanna (Jim) Hummel and Daughter-In-Law, Kimberly Corder; Grandchildren: John (Stephanie) Corder, Daniel (Sarah) Corder, Chelsea (Bryan) Hummel-Crane and Heidi Hummel; Great Grandchildren: Clara and Elizabeth Corder; Many wonderful family and friends. She is preceded in passing by her parents: Viran and Cleo (Sides) Marshall; Son, DuWayne Corder; Siblings: Gary Marshall, Wanda Marshall, Blenda Marshall, Bob Curtis, JD Curtis, Bill Curtis and Wilma Christian.
