Patsy A. Cornwall was born August 21, 1955 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Troy Lee and Athlee (Pinner) Brown. She was called home by the Lord on December 29, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 67.
Patsy grew up in Fort Cobb and attended school there. She also lived in Anadarko and around the Caddo County area.
Patsy married Steve Cornwell on December 31, 2000 in Chickasha. They lived and made their home in Chickasha.
Patsy's hobbies consisted of playing the guitar, watching Sci-fi movies, needle pointing, sewing, cooking, camping and fishing and all the time she could get to spend with family and friends. She was a collector of many antiquities.
Patsy was a caregiver to everyone. She lived a "simple life", not wanting or needing any frills, just enjoying the moment and loving life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Troy Lee (Pete) and Athlee (Lee) Pinner Brown; brothers: Coy Gene Brown and Michael Brown; daughter: Tena Smithpeter Flood; sisters: Brenda Yarnell and Donna Faye Brown.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Steve of the home; sons: Randy Dale Nester and wife, Amanda of Checotah, Patrick Nester and wife, Leslie of Muskogee; sister, Linda Brown Allen of Chickasha; grandchildren: Christian, Jordyn, Chancey, Kaitlyn and Emmett; nieces and nephews: Laurie McCauley of Chickasha, Nicole Justice and husband David of Moore, Troy Buckley and wife, Melissa of Chickasha, Debbie Bradford and husband, Ivan of Chickasha, Tammy Nix and husband, Bobby of Shawnee, Lisa Hooker of Moore and Melissa Abbott and wife Arleen of Yukon along with many other relatives and loving friends.
A special "Thank You" goes to her caregiver and hospice nurse, Penny Marley, RN along with Suncrest Hospice.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. to 1:15 P.M.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Fort Cobb Cemetery in Fort Cobb. Rev. Bill Phillips will officiate. Services are under the direction of Fort Cobb Funeral Home.
