Patsy Ruth Davis

Patsy Ruth Davis, 84, of White Oak, TX, was born July 13,1940 in Upshur County to M.C. and Pellie Alexander. She passed from this life on April 28, 2025.

Patsy attended East Mountain High School and went to church where she met and married Clayton “Red” Davis. In 1976, while raising their two sons, they established and operated East Texas Truck Equipment in Longview, TX before passing it on to their children. Through the years, she enjoyed hosting big lunches or dinners for the family and supporting her grandchildren at their sporting events. Later in life, she found pleasure in crocheting, bird watching, reading, online shopping, visiting with others, and bragging about her great grandbabies. She will be missed and remembered by many friends and family.

Patsy is survived by her son Tracey (Inga) Davis; daughter-in-law, Mischelle Davis; grandchildren, Bobby (Stephanie) Bradley, Joseph (Becca) Bradley, Shelby (Landon) Richeson, Jeffrey (Rachel) Davis, Jonathan (Lindsey) Davis, and Dax (Hannah) Davis; great grandchildren, Blaine Bradley, Abby and Angie Bradley, Aubrey and Avery Richeson, and Riley Kate Davis; Several nieces and nephews.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents M.C. and Pellie Alexander; husband Aubrey Clayton Davis; son Jeff Davis; siblings, Ray Alexander and wife Shirley, Robert Alexander, Rosemary Beisch and husband Bill, Dorothey King and husband Albert.

A service will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, TX. Visitation will be before the service at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers are Bobby Bradley, Jeffrey Davis, Jonathan Davis, Dax Davis, Blaine Bradley, and Dave Scott.
