Patsy Dellevar Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder Funeral Homes, Richardson Davis Chapel on Jan. 20, 2026.
Patsy Allene Meek Dellevar, of Mansfield passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday January 17, 2026. She was born February 7, 1928 in Stockdale, Texas, to Hugh and Ella Baker Meek.
Patsy grew up in San Antonio, Texas, before marrying the love of her life, Lloyd Dellevar, on November 27, 1954. The couple soon settled in Mansfield, where they built their life and raised three children.
Known as a true jack of all trades, Patsy was a skilled and capable handywoman. There was little she could not fix, build, or master once she set her mind to it. She and her husband built homes together for several years, and she took great pride in sharing her practical knowledge, craftsmanship, and love of home improvement with her children and grandchildren.
Patsy later began a long and dedicated career at Westinghouse in Mansfield, where she worked for 15 years before retiring when the plant closed in 1990. In retirement, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to caring for and enjoying family.
She remained sharp-minded and engaged throughout her life. Patsy enjoyed playing skill games on the computer, as well as cards and dominoes with family and friends, and she was an avid reader who never lost her love of learning.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Ella Meek: her beloved husband, Lloyd Dellevar; her sister, Esther Petri; and her nephew, Carl Petri of San Antonio, Texas.
She is survived by her children, Georgia Montgomery (Kevin Weikle), James Dellevar, and Cyndi Pope (Jeffrey Pope); her grandchildren, Lee Montgomery of Houston, Texas, Rick Montgomery of Weare, New Hampshire, Breanna Dixon of Columbus, and Joshua Pope of San Diego, California; and her great-grandchildren, Alaura and Andrew Solomon; Kaylee, Logan, Ava, and Sydney Montgomery; Isabella Dixon; and Joelle and Parker Pope. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Wright (Jack Wright) and nieces Tracie Wright-Reneau and Kelly Wright, of San Antonio, Texas.
Patsy will be remembered for her strength, resourcefulness, generosity, and steadfast devotion to her family. Her lessons, love and handiwork live on in the many lives she touched.
