Patsy “Pat” Joyce (Malone) Doak, 85, of Lexington, Missouri passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
A Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Lexington United Methodist Church, 1211 S. Business Hwy 13, Lexington, Missouri. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm at the church. There will be a celebration of life after the service at Patsy’s home. Memorials are suggested to Elks Lodge. Pat was born on September 11, 1939, in Wichita, Kansas to Rosslyn and Meda (Blanch) Malone. She graduated from High School in Wichita. On January 29, 1966, Pat was united in marriage to Vernon Leroy Doak, Jr., at the courthouse in Kansas City, MO. Pat and Vernon owned and operated Lafayette County Glass. When Pat wasn’t working at the glass shop with Vernon, she tended and cared for the home. Along with spending time with family and friends, Pat enjoyed cooking, gardening, motorcycle trips to Sturgis, and going to their lake house.
Pat is survived by three sons, Butch Doak & Terri Bargfrede of Higginsville, MO; Dale (Annie) Doak of Lexington, MO, and Rodney Doak of Waverly, MO; eight grandchildren, Miles (Jen) Doak, Hannah (Josh) Norris, Morgan (Andrew Gooch) Doak, Dylon Doak, Karlee Doak, Dale Doak, Jr., Dalton Doak and Wyatt Doak; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, Betty Benneson; one brother in law, Mike Doak; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Along with both her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Kate Doak.
