Patsy Jean Dorris Adamson

Patsy Jean Dorris Adamson, age 73 of Cottontown entered her rest Friday, January 31, 2025 at Skyline Medical Center. She was born September 26, 1951 in Portland, TN to Edwin P. & Georgia York Dorris. She was a self-employed seamstress and was a member of The Church of the Firstborn. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Patricia Dean Baumann and Gladys Groves; brothers J.W. Dorris, Billy Dorris, Bobby Dorris and James Dorris. She is survived by her loving husband of 55-1/2 years, Allan Adamson; daughters, Larissa Burrow and Latisha (Chad) Waggoner, all of Cottontown, TN; brother, Jerry (Diane) Dorris, Portland, TN; sisters, Peggy Davis, Portland, TN and Janie (Ed) Andrews, Cottontown, TN; 3 grandchildren, Dillon Burrow, Sierra Burow and Savannah Waggoner. Funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 1pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Pastor Roger Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens with Shawn Andrews, Chris Kepley, Peyton Kepley, Chad Waggoner, Michael Burrow, Jr. & Zach Suttle serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer Dillon Burrow. Visitation is planned for Wednesday, February 5, 2025 4-9pm and Thursday, February 6, 2025 10am-1pm at the funeral home.
