Patsy S. Dressler, 81, of Fort Wayne, passed away on November 11, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital Downtown.
She was born on March 28, 1944, in Fort Wayne, to the late John and Eva (Summers) Marvel.
Patsy dedicated her life to caring for others, both professionally and personally. An integral part of Ft. Wayne Pools, she spent over 20 years providing exceptional care and companionship as a QNA at Miller's Marry Manor. Patsy's heart extended to many children as a foster and adoptive parent, and the love she poured into the world was reflected in the lives she touched. Her love for her cat, Kitten, was another testament to her nurturing spirit.
Patsy had a passion for the outdoors. She found great joy in playing Scrabble, fishing, mushroom hunting, gardening, and simply being outside.
Patsy is survived by her daughters, Wendy Dressler, Eva Dressler, JoAn (Theodore) Ballback IV, and Aurora Dressler; her estranged daughter, Jenell; her two sisters, Ruth Millikan and Irene Clingerman; her four grandchildren, including Samantha (Corey) Vebert and Jacob Walker; and her 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Dressler.
A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel with calling hours two hours prior to the service.
Following the service, Patsy will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.
Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
