Patsy Joann Stone Eaddy, 86, of Moncks Corner, SC, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday evening. Her funeral will be 1:00 PM Thursday afternoon, October 2, 2025, in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday evening.

Born on November 16, 1938, in Hanna, SC, Mrs. Eaddy was the daughter of William Clinton Stone and Lillie Addely Hayes Stone. She was devoted to her Baptist faith. Throughout her career, she worked in several local restaurants-including Alex's, the Flowertown Restaurant, and The Barony House-taking on roles as waitress, bookkeeper, manager, and hostess. Mrs. Eaddy was known for her warm personality and her gift for caring for others, especially the sick and elderly.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed working crossword puzzles and reading, with a special fondness for her Bible. Her greatest happiness came from moments spent with her great grandson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Eaddy was preceded in death by twelve siblings and her beloved husband, Charlie Bedford Eaddy.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Spencer and her husband Ryan Hammick of Columbia; her son, David C. Eaddy of Moncks Corner; two grandchildren, James Tyler Way and Brianna Faythe Spencer; two great grandchildren, Haisley Elizabeth Way and Drayton Cobee Way; her special niece and nephew, Renee Sprague and Bubba Evans; and her cherished dog, Murray.
