Mrs. Easterwood passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. Born on August 5, 1951, in Alexander City to Charles Park Wilbanks and Corrine Hatton Wilbanks, Patsy's life was one marked by dedication, warmth, and a spirited love for the world around her.

Patsy's professional life was characterized by her meticulous attention to detail and her unwavering integrity. She spent many years as a bookkeeper for several businesses, where her expertise and reliability were greatly valued. Her colleagues knew her as a person who not only excelled in her work but also brought joy and a sense of camaraderie to the workplace.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Patsy was a passionate supporter of Auburn University football. Her enthusiasm for the game was infectious, and she could often be found cheering on her team with vigor, embodying the true spirit of a devoted fan. Her love for the game was a testament to her loyalty and her belief in the power of community and teamwork.

Patsy was also known for being a night owl, a trait that allowed her to indulge in her fondness for late-night television shows. Her laughter would fill the room as she enjoyed the nightly banter of her favorite hosts, and she relished the quiet hours that brought her a sense of peace and contentment.

Her presence was a beacon of light that shone brightly in the lives of those who knew her. Patsy's kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering support for the people and things she loved will be deeply missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her friends and family, and the stories of her life will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we bid farewell to Mrs. Patsy Easterwood, we celebrate the life of a woman who was truly one of a kind. Her journey through life was filled with the joy of simple pleasures, the thrill of her favorite sport, and the satisfaction of a job well done. Patsy's legacy is one of love, dedication, and the enduring strength of the human spirit.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mike Easterwood of Auburn; daughters, Casey Leigh (Brandon) Payne of Auburn, and Kristen Marie Moore of Opelika; niece, Stacy (Greg) Pendley of Hoover; and nephew, David (Angela) Waters of Hayden.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Betty Waters.
