Patsy Ann Foreman, age 84, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the York Hospital with family by her side. Born in Cascade, MD on May 17, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Elwood Gilmore and Jane Marr Gallion Kendall.
Mrs. Foreman was a 1959 graduate of Smithsburg High School. She worked as a switchboard operator for the former Waynesboro Telephone Company, a day care provider at Chapel Hill School in Akron, OH, PTL TV ministries, in charlotte, NC, an office manager for WJAL-TV 68 Greencastle, PA, and lastly as sales associate for J.C. Penney company for 16 years, retiring in 2006. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are three children, Jerome “Jef” Edward Foreman III (wife Beverly) of Chambersburg, PA, Robyn Arnold (husband Michael) of Cincinnati, OH, and Karen Robison (husband Edward, deceased) of Hagerstown, MD; four grandchildren, Jerome “Rome” Edward Foreman IV of Austin, TX, Diana Robison of Hagerstown, MD, Christopher Arnold of Cincinnati, OH, and Sarah Bayse (husband Robert) of Cincinnati, OH; one great-grandson, Jackson Robison of Hagerstown, MD; and two siblings, Kathryn Starliper (husband Keith) of Waynesboro, PA and Judith Rose Arndt of Hanover, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Edward Foreman, Jr. in 2023 and a sister, Marth Jean Huff.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10 AM in the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA 17225, where Pastors Matthew Robinson and Don Harrelson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 7-9 PM and on Saturday one hour prior to the service in the above funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Germantown Bethel Church of God Cemetery, Cascade, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Child Evangelism Fellowship, PO Box 6, Waynesboro, PA 17268.
