Patsy Fosberg Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Scott Funeral Home - Alvin on Jun. 19, 2025.
Patsy Thomas Fosberg, born on November 22, 1935, in Chickasaw County, Mississippi, passed away peacefully in her home on June 17, 2025, at the age of 89.
Patsy dedicated much of her professional life to Holland Mortgage, where her hard work and integrity left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. However, it was her unwavering dedication to her family and friends that truly defined her life.
She was deeply devoted to her husband and the love of her life, Lester Fosberg. They were married on June 16, 1958, and shared 61 wonderful years together before Lester passed away in November 2019. Patsy is now reunited with him in heaven, where their enduring love continues forever.
Granny, as she was lovingly known, found her greatest joy in bringing her loved ones together. Whether hosting Thanksgiving feasts or Christmas gatherings, she delighted in filling her home with the warmth of family, the sound of laughter, and the comfort of togetherness. Her dining room table was not just a place to share meals but a sacred space where cherished memories were made.
A devoted coffee lover, Patsy could often be found savoring an afternoon cup of coffee, sharing stories and moments with those she held dear. Her love for her "people" was boundless and unconditional, a testament to her generous heart and nurturing spirit.
Patsy's legacy is one of love, connection, and the importance of family. She leaves behind a treasure trove of memories and a profound impact on all who had the privilege to know her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh & Mozelle Thomas; Brothers, Joe Thomas & Harry Thomas. She is survived by her daughter Cindy Macha and husband Mitchell, son Larry Fosberg and wife CeLee; Brother, Paul Thomas and wife Vicky; her grandchildren, Kristy Hutchison, Anthony Macha, Jessica Davison, Jenisa Corbin and Jacob Macha; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Ellena, Daxten, Allie, Ben, Karaline, Jaxon, Jakoby and Orion; along with numerous other relatives and friends. They will carry forward her legacy of love and unity.
Patsy will forever be remembered for her boundless love and her unparalleled gift of bringing people together. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 22, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and funeral service will take place on Monday, June 23, at 2:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home, with a reception to follow at the Methodist Church.
