Patsy Franklin Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 12, 2024.
Patsy Earlene Franklin of Berryville, Arkansas was born October 25, 1943, to Earl and Bentley Williams. She departed this earthly life on Saturday March 9, 2024, at Holiday Island, Arkansas at the age of 80. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing.
She was united in marriage to Calvin Franklin on September 6, 1968 and spent 55 years together. She is survived by her husband Calvin, son Scott Franklin and his wife Kim of Berryville, grandchildren Austin and Colton Franklin, and many nieces and nephews.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Bentley and her brothers Wayne and Melvin Williams.
Patsy loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Whether it was family gatherings for Christmas and Thanksgiving or watching her grandsons competing in sports for the Berryville Bobcats (or a spirited game of wiffle ball in her front yard) – family came first. She also really enjoyed her Friday hair appointments and lunch with her friends. She was steadfast in her faith and loved the Lord and attending church. She was completely ready to depart this earthly life and begin her heavenly walk with Christ and seeing her loved ones that preceded her in death. She will be missed on this earth by all of her family and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Kings River Church with Pastor Doby Williams officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), PO Box 5021, Hagerston, MD 21741 or online at www.jdrf.org.
