Patsy J. Giotto, 94, of Vandergrift, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in QLS-Apollo.
Born February 5, 1930 in Vandergrift, he was the son of the late Joseph and Antoinette (DeBenidictis) Giotto.
Patsy was a 1948 graduate of Vandergrift High School, and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict.
He was employed as a milkman his whole life, retiring from Turner Diary, Penn Hills in 1995.
Patsy was a member of St. Gertrude R.C.C., Vandergrift Golf Course, Bari Club, and the former Sons of Italy all of Vandergrift.
He was well known for the colossal sized tomatoes he grew, and his love for sweet corn. Patsy enjoyed just about every sport under the sun. He loved to golf, play softball, shoot pool, play ping pong, and go bowling at Lee's Lanes.
In addition to his parents, Patsy was preceded in death by his siblings, Nancy Arteritano, Mary Cuffia, Sebastian Giotto, and Lena Trozzi.
Patsy is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Valerie M. (Chomyak) Giotto of Vandergrift; children, Lisa A. (Gary) Minik of East Vandergrift; Anthony J. (Diane) Giotto of Vandergrift; David (Lisa) Giotto of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; grandchildren, Tara Minik, Jena (Dr. Tom) Melvin, Jennifer Giotto, Carly Giotto; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church 303 Franklin Ave. Vandergrift with Father Alan Polczynski as celebrant. Private burial in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Vandergrift.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Patsy's memory to the Vandergrift Golf Course 124 Tee Lane Vandergrift, PA 15690.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Brady-Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. Vandergrift.
