It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Patsy Boyle Hagner (Ann Boyle), whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She departed this world peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories.
Born and raised in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, 107th Street and Amsterdam Ave. A place that was always close to her heart, as she spoke of it often. She attended Ascension High School, where she made lifelong friends. She worked at Diners Club as a young woman, where she met her late husband, William Hagner. After they married, they relocated to Atlantic Beach, NY, where they raised their children. She was the life of the party, a legend in Long Beach, always had a funny line to deliver, and was the best joke teller ever. She was incredibly proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She lived her life with grace, elegance, and no regrets, and was her family's biggest supporter.
She leaves behind a loving legacy, a family who will carry forward her values and memories. Her children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her will continue to honor her by living with the same grace and kindness. As well as her zest for life, her sense of humor, and her ability to see humor in even the most demanding situations. Laughter to her was key, and she was on to something!
She is survived by her daughters, Maureen, Billie Lee, and Kerri. Her grandchildren and their spouses, Nicholas and Nicole Trapani, Frank and Terra Trapani, and Raymond and Kimberly Trapani, as well as granddaughter Caitin Conforti. Her great-grandchildren: John, Alice, Nicholas, Liam, Nora, Sarah, James, and Eden.
