Patsy Joann Jones

Patsy Joann Jones, age 86, of Paragould, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro. Patsy was born on August 31, 1937, to the late Tommy Shannon and Laura (Clayton) Shannon in Boydsville, Arkansas.
Patsy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She worked as a beautician for many years prior to her retirement. She loved to go fishing, and she loved to cook. She never let anyone leave her house without a full belly. Her greatest love was her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Jones, and her beloved son Tommy Lee Barker.
She leaves behind her sons, Don Barker, and Phillip Wayne Barker; grandchildren, Keely Felts, Olivia Casinger, Graham Barker, Josh Barker, and Ashley Barker; great-grandchildren, Madison, Spencer, Cayden, Alexis, Makena, Keaton, Mallory, Trenton, Scarlett, Tera-Lynn, Isabella, Kaden, and Carly; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector, on Sunday, January 28, 2024, beginning at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be private at Woodland Heights in Rector, Arkansas.
