Amanda Griggs Obituary
Amanda Arnold of Rector, Arkansas was born on January 18, 1985, in Paragould, Arkansas and passed away on December 13, 2025, in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 40.
Though her time on this earth was far too short, Amanda was deeply loved and will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched. She was known for her kind heart, her willingness to help anyone in need, and her love of cooking. Her compassion, generosity, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved son, Tyler Griggs; her significant other, David Banks; her loving parents, Grady Arnold Jr. (Charity), and Sheila Young; her sibling Bryan Arnold (Krystal) and Grady Robinson; her grandmother: Barbara Mullins, along with a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bobby and Betty Young, and Grady Arnold, Sr.
Amanda's memory will be cherished always, and her legacy of kindness and love will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector. Services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home also. Interment will be at the Woodland Heights Cemetery.

I was so happy we got together and then to find out we were cousins!! I enjoyed are talks and spending time with you. Especially the time we ended up going to the wrong town Lol. We did have a good laugh about that. I was so proud to call you my cousin You was kind,caring and Beautiful inside and out. You had a huge heart of gold!! You was a great baker!!! Amanda, you always had a way to make me smile... your beautiful smile and one of a kind personality will never be forgotten... all our talks we had about cooking and you making fun of me on all the southern meals I ain´t never made lol I will cherish all the things you taught me so much in the short time I knew you... and smile thinking of all the fun goofy things you did...I will miss you and remember you always. RIP
