Patsy Jones Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ingram Funeral Home - Marysville on Sep. 25, 2025.
Patsy Lyn Jones, 42, of Marysville, passed away peacefully late Monday evening, September 22, 2025, at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital after months of declining health.

One of four children, Patsy was born December 5, 1982, in Hardin County to David L. Jones and Tammy L. (Gwilliams) Norwood. A graduate of Marysville High School, she had a job she loved at UCO Industries where she meticulously put together packets for cars at Honda – something she was very proud of. She had a lot of friends at UCO over the years whom she loved very much, and a lot of caretakers in her life she considered family.

If you knew Patsy, you knew her big heart, her contagious smile, and her infectious giggles and laughter – she was a genuine treasure. She found joy in small things, from playing her handheld games, to coloring pictures and bowling, but she REALLY loved animals, especially dogs. She also loved and looked forward to Friday night dinners with her Gwilliams family.

Patsy is survived by her mom, Tammy, and her dad, David; siblings John, Joe, and Michael Jones; aunts and uncle Susie, Tim, and Angie, as well as the extended Gwilliams family; many nieces, nephews, caretakers, and lifelong good friends.

Calling hours will be 4-6 pm Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Ingram & Snyder Funeral Home, 975 N. Maple St., Marysville, where funeral services to celebrate Patsy's life will begin at 6 pm with Rev. Donna Montgomery officiating. Burial will take place at Raymond Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Union County Humane Society, 16540 County Home Rd., Marysville, in honor of Patsy's love of animals.

Ingram & Snyder Funeral home is honored to serve Patsy's family, and condolences may be expressed to them at www.IngramFuneralService.com.
