Patsy Keith

Patsy Keith, 87, of Talladega, AL passed away at her home on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Her family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00P.M. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Pine Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum with Todd Henderson officiating.

Mrs. Keith was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega, AL and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for many years. She graduated from nursing school at Nunnelley State Technical College and worked as an LPN until her retirement from Citizen's Hospital after over 20 years of service. Earlier in her life, Patsy enjoyed doing ceramics. She also loved traveling to the beach whenever she could. She was a strong-willed woman with a huge heart. Mrs. Keith was always happy and offered a smile to everyone. Her big heart and gentle smile earned her the title of "Mama Patsy" which many of her patients and people throughout the neighborhood called her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Carl "Chug" Keith; parents, Alfred and Lucille Blackburn; daughters, Debbie Held and Angelia Myrick; son, Michael Wayne Keith; grandchildren, Daniel Centilli and Fallon Held, and brother, Larry Blackburn.

Mrs. Keith is survived by her sons, Barry Keith and Greg Keith; daughter, Tammie Watts; sister, Peggy Browning, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
