Patsy Carolyn (Edens) Keltch, age 79 of Dayton, passed away at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga on Saturday, October 12, 2024. She was born in Pennington Gap, Virginia, on March 2, 1945. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Allen Keltch and her brothers, William Edens, Charles W. Edens, and Steven L. Dobbs.
Patsy lived in Dayton since 1964. She served her country as a medic in the US Army at Fitzsimmons General Hospital in Fitzsimmons, Colorado. She loved flowers, gardening, and quilting and attended New Union Baptist Church.
Patsy is survived by her sons, Robert (Denise) Keltch of Dayton Mountain and Stephen (Stephanie) Keltch of Dayton; her six grandchildren; her eight great-grandchildren; her sisters, Sharon Hobson of Arkansas, Nina Edens of Kentucky, Wanda Edens of Michigan, and Ann (Matt) Menezes of Florida; and her brother Ora B. Edens, Jr. of Kentucky.
Services for Patsy were held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Keith Butt officiating. She was laid to rest with military honors next to her husband at Rhea Memory Gardens after the service.

The family is being cared for by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, Tennessee, where they received friends on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
