LIMA -- Patsy Lamb, 89, passed away at 6:00 am, December 7, 2022 at Otterbein Nursing Home.
She was born May 12, 1933 in Lima to Orval and Lucille (Cosart) Crider who preceded her in death. On July 5, 1952 she married Danny V. Lamb who preceded her in death on October 11, 2021.
Patsy had worked as a Medicaid caseworker for Allen County Department of Human Services. She was a 1951 Graduate of South High School. She was a member of South Side Christian Church where she was an Elder, a choir member for 65 years, Christian Women' Fellowship, and the Faithful Followers Sunday School Class. Patsy was a Lima Memorial Hospital Auxiliary volunteer, life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 1275, and was on the Bath School Board. For many years after our retirement we spent at Savannah LakesVillage in McCormick, SC, which were very special. We attended McCormick First Baptist Church, where I sang in the choir and were members of the Kononia Sunday School class. I went on my Emmaus walk, while there. Our main vacation every summer has been with our family, fishing in Wisconsin, renting a cottage in the Birchwood/Rice Lake area. This has been a tradition since 1956 and it still continues today, with some of our children and grandchildren.

To Patsy's family: Sorry to hear about the loss of this wonderful lady. You all have my condolences. I am a friend of both Patsy and my Savannah Lake Village golf buddy, Danny. I've been in communication with Patsy (via email) for many years, and even more so since Danny passing in Oct. 2021. I became concerned when I stopped getting replies from Patsy on the daily emails and the Christmas ecard greeting I sent. She would frequently reply to the emails I sent, so I knew there must have been something going on when I didn't hear from her for over a month. I did an internet search today, 1/19/23, and my fears were confirmed. I will miss our communications, because the chemistry with lifes values and ideologies were compatible with each other, which made for gratifying conversation. It's difficult finding people like this these days. I will always cherish the memories and the times I shared with these two fine people. Happy they were a part of my "Train of Life". If anyone would like to touch base with me, my email address is: [email protected] Regards, Ron Danna

Patsy and Danny were such good friends to Doug and me when we spent the winters in McCormick. We had lots of wonderful meals together and lots of laughs. One time Danny was having trouble with the locks on his car. We went to a "gas station" restaurant that had the best food. Danny, Doug and I all climbed out of the car and somehow Patsy got locked inside. I can't remember what they did to get it unlocked, but I remember laughing so hard at Patsy sitting in that car.
I will always treasure their friendship.
