Patsy Liden Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Blue Oaks Cremation & Burial Services on Sep. 26, 2025.
Patsy J. Liden, 75, a devoted mother and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025. She was the daughter of Mildred Viola Buchanan of Spokane, Washington, and the late William Charles Buchanan of Antioch, California. Patsy's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Stephanie Jean Williams and her husband Jeffrey Burl Williams, and Shawnda Rachelle Deane and her husband Matthew David Deane, all of Loomis, California. She was the loving Grandmother to five grandchildren who will miss her dearly: Spencer David Deane, Brody Dunivan Deane, Ellen Florence Williams, Sydney Ellen Deane, and Will Evan Williams. She was survived by her husband John Linden of Vacaville.

Patsy was survived by her beloved Mother, twin sister and best friend, Peggy Jean Pate, and her brother-in-law, Glen Pate. She was also "Auntie" to several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Patsy was a survivor of Polio diagnosed as a young child and at one time was a March of Dimes poster child. Her favorite thing to do was shopping and she had numerous Wigs (her latest addiction) and purses. She was extremely close to her Mother and Sister who she valued spending time with them in Washington. She would love to spoil her grandchildren with their favorite drink, candy or anything special. When they would spend time with her she would often call it "Party Time". She would also ask the kids "Who Loves You Baby" and they would respond, Grandma!

Her family will miss her and feel good knowing she is not in any pain and with Jesus, her Grandparents whom she adored and close family and friends who are waiting for her with open arms.

A celebration of Patsy's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Roseville Church of Christ, 1799 Cirby Way Roseville, CA 95661.
