Patsy Mansfield Obituary
Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all and never knew a stranger. She worked for Lee County School systems until her retirement. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, William Garland Cox, Sr and Beulah Buchanan Cox; her brothers, W G "Red" Cox, Jr., Wilford Lee Cox, Johnny Cox, Bobby Gray Cox; sisters, Helen Jewel Cox, Laurie Cox Lloyd, and Betty Jo Cox Lucas.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Larry Mansfield; a son Tony Mansfield and Liz of Emerald Isle; a daughter, Hope Mansfield Argabright and Van of Cary; sister, Polly Holt of Sanford; grandchildren, Emily Argabright Ferreira (Austin), Rachel Lynn Argabright, and Cierra Lauren Mitchell; and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Swann Station Baptist Church. The funeral will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023, 2:00 PM with Pastor Russell Blackmon presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery Cameron Grove.
