Patsy Ruth Michalk

Patsy Ruth Michalk, 83, of Cedar Park, Texas, passed away on September 6, 2022. She was born on July 20, 1939, in Austin, Texas, to Melvin and Jennie Simpson. She married Rodney Michalk on January 4, 1957, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Austin. They enjoyed 65 years of marriage. She was a longtime resident of Cedar Park.
Patsy loved spending time with her family, going on camping trips, building the family home, cooking, and tending to her plants. She also enjoyed watching the Cowboys, Rangers, and tennis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Jennie Simpson; sons, Samuel and Steven; brothers, Melvin Simpson, Jr. and Douglas Simpson; and sisters, Dorothy Nell Smith and Bettye Jean Green. Patsy is survived by husband Rodney of Cedar Park, Texas; daughter, Lisa (Rev. Dale) Bohm of Lincoln, Texas; daughter-in-law, Diana Michalk of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Melissa (Jonathan) Slayton of Round Rock, Texas; Amy (Perry) Nutt of Waxahachie, Texas; Brian (Catherine) Michalk of Austin, Texas; Aaron (Lauren) Bohm of Cypress, Texas; and Elizabeth Bohm of Lincoln, Texas. She also leaves behind, great grandchildren, Theodore, Samuel, Avery, Margo, Lewis, Jacob, Nathaniel and Eli; sister, Linda (Stramer) White II of McMahan, Texas; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm with funeral services at 3:30 pm on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cedar Park, Texas. Interment will immediately follow in Cedar Park Cemetery, Cedar Park, Texas. Serving as pallbearers are Jonathan Slayton, Perry Nutt, Brian Michalk, Aaron Bohm, Theodore Michalk, and Samuel Slayton. Honorary pallbearers are Lewis, Jacob, Nathaniel, and Eli.
