Patsy Mummert Obituary
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 11:00am at Wisconsin Rapids Seventh-day Adventist Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service.
Pat was born on December 1, 1942, in Wisconsin Rapids to Roger and Cecil (McConnell) Frost. She graduated from Wisconsin Academy in 1961 and attended Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. She worked as a preschool assistant teacher at Columbus Preschool and Learning Treehouse before she retired in 2005. She married David P. Mummert on June 3, 1963. He later passed away in June of 2008.
Pat enjoyed bird watching, gardening, traveling, cardmaking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an active member of the Wisconsin Rapids Seventh-day Adventist Church, specifically in the women's ministry.
Pat is survived by her children, Amy (Miven) Donato, Sara (James) Lively, and Vicki (Jeff) Emde; grandchildren, Tyler Lively, Michael (Kashish) Lively, Katelyn (Nicholas) Simons, Madeline Emde, Taylor Donato, and Ella Emde; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Barron, Decker, Phoenix, and Emma; sister, Elaine (Dennis) Brunner; brother-in-law, James Reinolt, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David; parents, Roger and Cecil; sister, Marge Reinolt; and nephew, Mark Brunner.

I just learned of Patsy's passing---I am a former neighbor of hers when she and David lived in Idaho! I am so SAD to learn she is gone. I tried to keep in touch with her several times a year for many years since but more often after we retired. She was a sweet friend who I will truly miss!
