Patsy Neufang Obituary
SYRACUSE- Patsy Benedict Neufang, 60, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 at SUNY Upstate Medical Center after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Patsy was born on June 30, 1964 in Cornwall, Ontario, daughter of Camilla Carney and the late Mike Benedict. She attended St. Regis Mohawk area schools and Syracuse City Schools. She married Richard Neufang on April 9, 2013. Richard predeceased her on April 13, 2025.
She enjoyed her solitaire, dice and bowling games, and especially loved spending time with her children and family.
Patsy is survived by her mother Camilla Carney of Syracuse; her children Brian Gray, Jennifer Benedict, Lawrence Benedict, Guy "Little Guy" Goff, Travis Goff, and Erika Benedict; her siblings Rebecca Carney, Sandra Benedict and Sam Benedict; and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father Mike, husband Richard Neufang, her brother Thomas Michael Benedict, and her dog Ha-kats.
Friends may call at Akwesasne Homemakers on Thursday, beginning at 12 noon until Friday at 1:30 PM. A graveside service will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery, St. Regis, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jerome Pastores officiating.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, where friends and family are encouraged to share memories and condolences online at www.donaldsonfh.com.
