Patsy Page passed from this life on Saturday, May 10, 2025. A visitation will be held at Fry-Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 13 from 6-8pm. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at 11:00am at Midway Cemetery.
Patsy Ruth Page was born on December 10, 1937 to Ernest and Edna McCaffety in Goldsboro, Texas. She was raised in Goldsboro and attended school there in a one class schoolhouse with several grades until going to Novice in 6th grade. To the bus, she and her other classmates were known as "The Goldsboro Half Dozen". In high school, Patsy was elected Football Sweetheart and Relay Queen.
Patsy lived in Goldsboro her entire life until she married Floyd Page on March 9, 1957. The two moved to Merkel, Texas to make their home and raised two daughters, Becky and Connie.
Patsy was saved at an early age and was baptized in a muddy tank in Goldsboro. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church . Her life was built around her faith, family, and her church. She was a proud Meme to her grandchildren and they were the highlight of her life. She enjoyed going to any activity they were involved in.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two infant brothers, a sister Joyce Choate, brother-in-law R.B. Choate and nephew Tony Smith.
Patsy is survived by her husband of 68 years, Floyd Page, daughters Becky Wedin and husband Mike and Connie Roark and husband Bill, grandchildren Page Dickerson and husband Cody, Austin Wedin and wife Laura, Chelsea DeMent and husband Clayton, and Logan Wedin, and great-grandchildren Cason, Colton, Callie Mae, Shyla, Bristol, and Alana, and numerous nieces, nephews, family friends, and church family.
