Patsy Elese Goolsby Potts, 71, of Ashland City, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
If you asked about her kids, grandkids, or great-grandkids, you’d see the biggest smile and know they were her greatest joys in life.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Wade and Gladys Elese Goolsby, three brothers, Pete Goolsby, Tony Goolsby, and Jerry Jones, and four sisters, Joyce Johnson, Betty Nicholson, Barbara Brown, and Kathy Young.
Patsy is survived by her husband of 55 years, James (Jimmy) Potts: son and daughter Chris and Tracy Potts; Grandchildren- Cody Potts, Garrett (Kelsey) Potts, Paige (Blake) Waller, Annie Trice, Carrie Trice; Great- Grandchildren- Kayden, Carson, Eleanor, Anniston, Roman, Charlotte, and Nolan: her lifelong friend, Sissy Bean.
Numerous nieces and nephews including Kathy Goolsby Norton and Jan Wynn. Sisters- Janie (Kenny) Brown, Marie Calhoun; In-Laws- Lorene (Glenn) Winfrey, Judy Pope, Debbie Vido, Sherry Goolsby, and brother-in-law Dennis Potts.
Visitation with the family with be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth Street, Ashland City, TN 37015.
