Patsy Procell

 

Patsy Lynn Place Procell was born February 13, 1947 in Allen to Fred and Earline Place and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 26, 2023 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 30th at St Anne’s Catholic Church in Spanish Lake Community beginning at 5pm until service time on Wednesday May 31st. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7pm on Tuesday. A mass of Christian burial will be at 11am on Wednesday May 31 followed by burial at Beulah Cemetery.

 Patsy is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Cj Procell, son Steve Procell Sr, daughter Krystal Procell, sisters Linda Weldon and Dorothy Tucker.

 Affectionately known as Maw Maw, Mama Pat or Pat she cherished everyone in her life. She enjoyed weekends at the casino, playing bingo, doing her word search puzzles or napping in her recliner. Before her health declined, she loved to cook especially making tamales, baking peanut butter cakes for her grandchildren or keeping as many children as she could.
Left to cherish her memory is her Son, Jeremy Procell of Allen, brother, Wayne place of Allen and sister, Freda Alford of Center, Texas. Three grandchildren Stephanie Mitchell (Jeffery) of Spanish Lake, Megan Hendrix (Robbie) of Natchitoches and Tony Procell (Kristen) of Hagewood.

 Nine great grandchildren Stevan, Kameryn And Preslee Brigmon of Spanish Lake,
Jesse Freeman and Landyn Hendrix of Natchitoches and Bayla, Hayven, Tripp and Romans Procell of hagewood.

 Daughter in Law Lisa Laurent (Alex) of Robeline, niece Tanya Hernandez and nephew Jason Moore. Two sister-in-Law, Rose Fay of Spanish Lake and Bonnie Byrd of Shreveport.
Those honored to serve as Pallbearers will be Stevan Brigmon, Tony Procell, Jeffery Mitchell, Robbie Hendrix, Jason Moore and Alex Laurent.

 The family would like to extend their sincere Thanks to NRMC 2nd floor Med Surg, ICU Dept, Fresenius Dialysis Keyser and Hospice of Natchitoches for all they did for Pat. Also, we want to Thank Mr. Jim at Blanchard St Denis Funeral Home for the comfort and compassion he showed us while making her final arrangements.
