Patsy Lou Seeds, 86, of Gainesville, Texas passed away January 11, 2025 at her residence in
Gainesville, Texas with family at her side. She was born on May 13, 1938 in Gainesville, Texas
to James Ira and Melba (Westerman) Taylor.
Pat attended Gainesville High School, graduated Cooke County College with an LVN nursing
degree and attended auctioneer school in Nashville.
Jobs held: Nursing for retirement homes and correctional facilities, dispatcher for Santa Fe
railroad. She retired from security dispatching for Winstar at 78 years of age.
Hobbies: Her work and adventures took her from Yucatan, Mexico to Anchorage, Alaska and
California to Massachusetts.
Patsy is survived by:
Randy Seeds and Carmen of Gainesville, Texas, Jimmy (Bo) Seeds and Heran of Louisville,
Kentucky, Dara (Seeds) Slaven and Bill of Portsmouth, Iowa. Brother Tom Taylor of Broken
Bow, Oklahoma, Sister Linda (Taylor) Atchison and David of Ozark, Arkansas and sister-in-law
Brenda Taylor of Mannsville, Oklahoma. Also grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces,
nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by:
Her parents Melba and James, her daughters Nicki (Seeds) Briggs and Tricia (Seeds) Jenkins.
Her children's father Jim Seeds, sisters Dorma (Taylor) Flusche and Glinda (Taylor) Thompson
and brother Kenneth Taylor.
A memorial and interment will be announced at a later date.
