Patsy A. Shawley, 81 of White passed away on Wednesday August 7. 2024 in the Select Specialty at Independence Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born on June 25, 1943, the daughter of the late James and Allie Mae Porterfield Ritenour. Patsy worked many years for Seven Springs Mountain Resort and retired from there and then went on to work at Hidden Valley Resort where she retired in 1993 and moved to Florida. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard D. "Dick" Shawley; children, Kelly Cunningham and her husband Jeff of Connellsville and Steve Shawley and his wife Jennifer of White; grandchildren, Nadia Kalvik and her husband William of Norway, Kolbe Cunningham and Michaela of Pittsburgh, Callie Cunningham of Connellsville and Clayton Shawley and his fiancé Kiera and Mya Shawley of White; great grandchildren, Luna, Oliver and Leo; Patsy came from a very large family and she is also survived by her siblings,, Mary Thomas and her husband John of Stahlstown, Tommy Ritenour and his wife Peggy of Bentleyville, Bill Ritenour and his wife Margie of Indian Head, Jimmy Ritenour of Bentleyville, Bonny Riley and her husband Bill of Somerset, Joe Ritenour and his wife Jackie of Ellsworth, Debbie Jenkins and her husband Tom of Ellsworth, Sally Evans and her husband George of Ellsworth, Marlene Fereza and her husband Frank of Scenery Hill, Pa. and Arlene Lukitich and her husband George of Ellsworth, sister-in-law, Rose Ritenour; brother-in-law, Eugene Geary; three other sisters-in-law, Ann Friend and Mary Lou Ulery of Rector and Sally Maness and her husband Denny of Florida and many nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Dicky Shawley; brother, Ricky Ritenour; sisters, Hazel Geary and Dorothy Ament, sister-in-law, Mary Ritenour and a nephew, Mark Maness. Family and friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville on Friday from 3:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M., the hour of funeral services with Rev.
