Patsy Marie Simpson

Patsy Marie Simpson of Weatherford, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 21st, at the age of 89.
She is survived by Henry Kitchens and her children, Donny Simpson, Deborah Betancourt, and daughter-in-law Alison Simpson. She was known lovingly as Neenaw to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her grandchildren: Samuel Huff, Adam Simpson, Robert and Julie DeSutter, Lara and Curt Alt, Tracy Rain, Laurel and Mark Schumaker, Kara Simpson, Carrie and Ben D'Amico, Amy Ballard and Amy Girimonti; and her great grandchildren: Caleb, Nicholas, and Joshua Stacey, Bennie and Austin D'Amico, Bodhi, River and Indy Johnson, Rocco and Bodhi Girimonti, Elias and Emelia Schumaker, Madeline and Kyle Alt, and Cadence Rain. She has a loving extended family of many nieces and nephews.
Patsy was a nurse in Weatherford, Fort Worth, and Granbury for many years. Her loving and compassionate nature kept her caring for others, even long after she retired. She was a loving mother, wonderful friend, and awesome Neenaw. Patsy was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, and treasured her friends and fellowship there. May everyone remember her warm and fun nature, and celebrate her wonderful and blessed life.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Harmony Baptist Church, 242 Harmony Road, Weatherford, Texas 76087. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Greenwood Community Cemetery for a committal service.
The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service beginning from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
