Mrs. Patsy Ann Sprayberry

Patricia Ann "Patsy" Carlton Sprayberry age 81, of Chickamauga, Georgia went home to be with The Lord early Tuesday morning on June 13, 2023 surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was born in Chickamauga, Georgia to the late William "Walt" and Elizabeth Ruby Akins Carlton. She was a lifelong resident of the Chickamauga area and a graduate of Rossville High School – Class of 1959. She attended Peavine Baptist Church in Rock Spring, Georgia. She enjoyed singing about her Shepherd of The Valley and many other songs about Praising The Lord. Patsy was a homemaker and loved raising her children and grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Jimmy, W.C., Charles and James Carlton. Patsy is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-five years: Donnie Lee Sprayberry of Chickamauga, GA, their children: Dale (Paula) Sprayberry of LaFayette, GA, Lori Robertson (Terry Brumlow) of Rock Spring, GA, Donna (Tony) Love of Rock Spring, GA, Dinna (Greg) Spradlin of Chickamauga, GA, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, sister: Betty Carlton Jackson of Chickamauga, GA, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Thursday from 12:00 noon until the service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm – Thursday – June 15, 2023 in the chapel with Reverend Derrell O'Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park, Rossville, Georgia.
