Patsy Louise Stewart, passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 84, surrounded by her
husband of 67 years and her four children. She was born on March 20 th, 1941, in Carroll
County, KY, to Charles Raymond and Gypsy Lee (Winters) Hensley. She spent most of her
life living in Carrollton, KY and surrounding areas. On August 16, 1957, at the age of 16, she
married the love of her life, Robert James (Bobby) Stewart. She was a member of The
Dividing Ridge Apostolic Church.
Patsy loved life, and at various times her hobbies included baking cakes, planting flower
gardens, crocheting, decoupage, and watching Gunsmoke. Baby-sitting was also something
she loved to do. Of all her activities, she valued being a housewife and mother far above all
else. Together with Bobby, they raised 4 children, Robert Jeffery (Deborah) Stewart of
Halfmoon, NY, Shirley Faye (Jesse) Lambert of Carrollton, KY, Scott Anthony (Kris) Stewart of
Cassopolis, MI, and Timothy Woodrow Stewart of Madison, IN. Patsy was also a grandmother
to Jonathan Lambert, Sheree Stewart, Amanda Lambert Pickle, Brittany Stewart, Dawson
Smith, Ethan Stilts, McKalyn Stewart, Addison Stewart, and Joshua Stewart. She was also
great-grandmother to Samuel, Emory, Lillian, and Benjamin Lambert; Kaylee and Arthur
Pickle; and Onyx and Olivia O’Neal.
She is preceded in death by her three brothers; Harold Joseph Hensley; Charles Raymond
Hensley, Jr; Thomas Eugene Hensley; and three sisters, Nancy Carol Graves Jolly, Ruth Dian
Ringwald, and Nora Annette Sellers.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 A.M at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. on Friday, May 9, 2025.
Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
