Iva Stewart Obituary
Iva L. Utzman Mayfield Stewart, 95, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Morgantown Healthcare Center. She was born April 21, 1930, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn Squires Utzman, and worked for many years as a telephone operator with Ohio Bell.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Mayfield and wife, Beverly Epstein; her brother, Edward Utzman; her nephew, Ralph Utzman; her niece, Carol Howell Yanego; and her great-nephew, Jason Howell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Stewart, and her sister, Doris Howell.
In accordance with her wishes, all services will be private. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Pisgah Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Iva's memory to Animal Friends of North Central West Virginia, P.O. Box 1090, Dellslow, WV 26531.
