Patsy Umphress Obituary
Patsy will be buried at Rough Creek Cemetery at 10:30 AM, on Monday, July 22, 2024.
Patsy was born on January 15, 1943, in Houston, Texas to the late M.T. and Mabel Holly. Patsy married her high school sweetheart, Billy Rex Umphress on September 13, 1958. She enjoyed entertaining and being around people. Patsy made everyone who entered her home feel welcome. She was passionate about all things – particularly the preservation of the earth and conservation. Most of all, Patsy will be remembered for her strong Christian faith which was the foundation of her life and for the love she had for her family.
Patsy is survived by her children, Bobby Umphress and LaDona Lecoq; granddaughters, Alise, Amy, and Celine; and great-children, Payton, Adalyn, Aviya, Rachael, Jacob, and Hailey.
In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Rex; her son, Michael T. Umphress; and by an infant brother.
