Patsy Waggoner

Patsy Lee Waggoner, aged 79, from Crosby, TX, passed away on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024. Born on December 24, 1944, in Houston, TX, to Carson and Nelda Heying, Patsy graduated from Galena Park High School and earned her BS from Southwest Texas State University, along with a real estate license. She was a teacher in Galena Park ISD for many years and then started her career in real estate with Century 21 after retiring from teaching. Patsy will be remembered for her loving spirit, quick-witted humor, and love for all animals. She was cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren fondly recall enjoying ice cream on the porch, a pantry full of snacks, and having "Mimi" cheer them on from the bleachers. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Carson and Nelda Heying, her husband Jay Waggoner, her daughter Christy Orn, and stepsons Michael Waggoner and Ronald Waggoner. She is survived by her daughter Angela Richey and husband Doug, stepson Alan Waggoner and wife Joyce, grandchildren Jay Dillon Matthys and wife Hannah, Devin Hinkle and wife Brittany, Kaitlyn Richey, Blane Orn, Riley Orn, Amber Waggoner, Grant Waggoner and wife Sarah, and great-grandchildren Elliot Schexnayder, Lena Matthys, and Cody Hinkle.
