Patsy Ann Weintraut

Patsy Ann Weintraut, 76, of Shelbyville, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Major Health Partners in Shelbyville.

She was born September 20, 1948, in Shelby County, the daughter of George and Maxine (Marshall) Murnan. On December 27, 1974, Patsy married her husband of over 50 years, Michael “Mike” Weintraut, and he survives.

In addition to Mike, Patsy is survived by her brother, Mike Murnan of Shelbyville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In 1966, Patsy graduated from Triton Central High School.

She was a member of the Fairland United Methodist Church.

Patsy and her husband, Mike, had formerly owned and operated Mike Weintraut Carpet Sales and Service.

She enjoyed spending time on their houseboat on the Ohio River, where she was a member of the Rising Sun Yacht Club.

Patsy was also a member of Moose Lodge No. 2118.

She and Mike enjoyed volunteering at the Shelby Shifters car shows.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm, Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will follow, with Sister Joan Miller officiating.

Interment will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery in Shelbyville.
