Pat Wilson
June 29, 1939 - September 19, 2025
Pat was born in Duncan, Oklahoma to Jim and Lorine Husband. As a young girl during World War 2, she and her parents moved to California where her father worked as a B1 Bomber Inspector and her mother as a nurse at Hollywood Hospital. The family moved back to Duncan when Pat was in 2nd grade and she lived the rest of her life there.
Pat worked as a secretary for Halliburton, where she met her husband, Derald Wilson. The two married August 31, 1974. They enjoyed traveling to their cabin in Eastern Oklahoma and fishing at Pine Creek Lake. They also enjoyed traveling with their dear friends David and Sandy Lord and FL and Donna Estes. Together they had many memorable fall foliage tours to Colorado, trips to Branson, Missouri, and experienced a wonderful cruise to Mexico. She was a beloved wife and remained by Derald's side until his final moment.
Pat was an amazing mother to the late Jeana Garrison. Together they traveled around the country rodeoing, enjoyed shopping and spending time together. Pat was a wonderful caretaker during Jeana's time of need until her passing.
In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Pat was the "Meme" that every child would dream of. She absolutely loved her only grandchild, Jacob. Their time together was unmatched. Nearly forty years later, she continued to be a wonderful Meme to her great-grandson, Bronc.
Pat loved her sister Kathy Willeford and her husband Joe, and their children Jason, Jennifer and Jeffrey. She was a great "Sissy" to them and enjoyed spending time with their families.
Pat loved the Lord and found great joy in teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was a member at Lakeside Baptist Church and loved her church family. She also enjoyed reading recipes and cooking. Finally, Pat loved a fresh cup of hot black coffee.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents Jim and Lorine Husband; husband Derald Wilson; and her daughter Jeana Garrison.
She is survived by her grandson Jacob Latham, his wife Elissa and great-grandson Bronc; cousin Sandy Lord; and sister Kathy Willeford and husband Joe, and their children and families.
