Mary Peel Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Whitt Funeral Home & Oakcrest Cremation Center on Mar. 11, 2026.
Mary Viola (Blue) Peel, age 59, of Duncan, OK, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. She was born on June 24, 1966 in Duncan, OK.
Mary and Ron Peel were wed on October 3, 1992. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a warm and loving home. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother whose greatest joy was spending time with her husband and two children. Her kindness, patience, and steady presence made her the heart of her family.
Mary was known for always putting others before herself. Throughout the year, she found joy in making holidays special for those around her, making sure there were plenty of Easter eggs for children to find and presents to open at Christmas. Her generosity and thoughtfulness created traditions and memories that her family and community will carry with them for years to come.
She worked as a caregiver for the elderly and drove a van for a daycare, something she truly enjoyed. She loved spending her mornings and afternoons with the children, sharing smiles and laughter along the way.
To her nieces and nephews, Mary was the fun aunt who planned "chicken wing dates," water play parties, and countless small adventures. Time spent with her was always filled with laughter, warmth, and the feeling of being loved.
Mary will be remembered for her compassion, her dedication to her family, and the quiet strength with which she cared for those she loved. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Ron Peel; her children: Sam Peel and Earl Peel; her sisters: Marilyn Kerbo, Tammy Kaus, Karen Shoemaker; and her cherished nieces and nephews, who will remember her love and gentle spirit.
She was preceded in death by her father, Veral Blue; her mother, Margie (Morris) Blue; and her sister, Theresa (Blue) Franklin.
A viewing will be held on Friday, March 13 from 4pm-6pm at Whitt Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life on Saturday, March 14 at 10am at the AMVETS, 126 S. 10th in Duncan. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life.
