Patsy Lou Woods

Patsy Lou Woods, age 90, of Sylvania, OH and formerly of Point Place, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio's Ebeid Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 3, 1936, in Ann Arbor, MI to Walter and Zenith (Mercer) Frybarger. A graduate of Edward Drummond Libbey High School, Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker, devoted to caring for her home and family. She was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, and very involved there as a Funeral Luncheon volunteer, RCIA leader, and retreat coordinator for the "Christ Renews His Parish" program. She was a talented crafter who made many beautiful ceramic ornaments and figurines over the years. She also enjoyed playing card games with friends – especially Yahtzee.

Patsy is survived by her children, Kathryn Covarubias (Charlie Fraver), Jeannie (Robert) Yarberry, Lawrence (Janet) Woods, and Daniel Woods; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Mary Woods; sisters, Joanne Smith, Ellen Tabb, and June Wright; brothers, Bob and Jake Frybarger; and former husband, Richard Drzewiecki.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 25 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Services will begin Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will be at a later date in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
