Patti Huff Bond of Elm Mott, Tx passed away on February 10, 2026. Patti Lynn (Huff) Bond was born in Gatesville, Texas on November 12,1943 to Charles Leonard Huff and Ida Belle Allison Huff. She was the youngest of four sisters. Her older sisters who preceded her in death are Vala Dee Shofner, Billie Doris Goodwin, and Norma Jean Phillips. Patti grew up in Crawford, Texas where she graduated from Crawford High School in 1962 and graduated from 4-C Business College in 1963. She moved to Dallas, Tx in 1965, where she married Jerry Bond, from Crawford, on December 30,1965 and they were married until Jerry passed away in 2000. They lived in several communities before finally settling in Rowlett, TX. After an early stint working for Zig Ziglar, she spent the heart of her working career at MCI from 1982 to 2001. It was there that she met a community of lifelong friends. In 2008 she moved to Waco and opened an antique store, "Timeless Treasures". This store was something that Patti truly enjoyed because she loved being around people.

Patti was a talented creator and a devoted mother and grandmother who found her greatest joy in bringing people together, whether through her handmade quilts, famous pickles, or family gatherings. After her successful career she spent her retirement traveling to bucket-list destinations and staying active in the lives of her four grandkids. She leaves behind a legacy of blooming gardens, cherished memories, and a family that was always well-fed and deeply loved.

She was a woman of deep and abiding faith. She was baptized in First Baptist Church in Crawford, TX at age 10 and moved her letter to Lakepointe Church in Rockwall, TX in 1992. Patti lived out the promises she made at her baptism in Crawford decades ago. Her spiritual foundation at First Baptist Church shaped the kind, people-loving woman who graced her family and friends and her 'Timeless Treasures' shop. For Patti, faith wasn't just a Sunday practice, but the lens through which she viewed her family and her community.

Patti and Jerry were the proud parents of two children, Deana Lynn Bond and Jerry Dean Bond Il. She was also the proud Grandmother of 4 grandchildren: Tanner Bond, Trevor Bond, Tristen Bond and Truett Bond.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Leonard Huff and Ida Belle Huff of Crawford, TX, and her husband, Jerry Dean Bond of Rowlett, TX. She is survived by her two children; Deana Bond and her significant other John Hite of Rowlett, TX, Jerry (Bubba) Bond and his wife Lesley of Sunnyvale, TX, her 4 grandchildren; Tanner Bond, Trevor Bond, Tristen Bond and Truett Bond all of Sunnyvale, TX. along with very special friends; Lisa Tambling and Jerry Baker as well as many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 16th, at Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall, TX. Services will follow on Tuesday, February 17th at 2:00 pm also at Rest Haven Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Park, where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Jerry.
