Patti Savoy Belfour Fontenot

EUNICE-With heavy hearts, the family of Patti Savoy Belfour Fontenot announces her passing on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Brookdale Senior Living in Lake Charles at the age of 73. A visitation in Patti's memory will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice.

Born on October 29, 1950, in Church Point, Louisiana, to the late Elba Gerald “Buddy” and Marjorie Guidry Savoy, Patti lived a simple life, finding joy and contentment in being an avid reader who loved her books. She was also dedicated to her career as a Librarian with the Calcasieu Parish School Board and other public libraries, and was also a SPARK teacher.

Patti will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her children, John Belfour of Lake Charles, and Caroline Belfour-Stanley and husband, Bill of Olón, Ecuador; her brothers, Keith Savoy of Eunice, and Douglas Savoy and wife, Anna of Abbeville. She will also leave behind her significant other, Arlan Foster of Dayton, TX, and the father of her children, Gregory Belfour and wife, Margaret of Lake Charles; as well as extended family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Savoy.
